Having trouble signing in? This guide covers the most common login problems and how to fix them.

Common login issues

”Invalid email or password”

Problem: Your credentials aren’t being accepted.

Solutions:

  1. Check for typos – Verify your email is spelled correctly
  2. Check caps lock – Passwords are case-sensitive
  3. Reset your password – Click “Forgot password?” on the login page
  4. Try a different browser – Clear any autofill issues

”Email not verified”

Problem: You need to verify your email before signing in.

Solutions:

  1. Check your inbox – Look for the verification email
  2. Check spam/junk folder – It may have been filtered
  3. Resend verification – Click “Resend” on the login page
  4. Wait a few minutes – Email delivery can be delayed

”Account not found”

Problem: No account exists with that email.

Solutions:

  1. Check the email address – Make sure it’s the one you registered with
  2. Try other emails – You may have used a different address
  3. Create an account – If you haven’t registered yet

Session expired

Problem: You were logged in but now see the login page.

Solutions:

  1. Sign in again – Sessions expire after a period of inactivity
  2. Clear browser cache – Old session data can cause issues
  3. Check your connection – Unstable internet can interrupt sessions

Password reset issues

Didn’t receive reset email

  1. Check your spam/junk folder
  2. Wait 5-10 minutes for delivery
  3. Try requesting again
  4. Verify you’re using the correct email
  5. Check if your email provider is blocking messages
  1. Make sure the link hasn’t expired (usually 1 hour)
  2. Click the link directly from the email (don’t copy/paste)
  3. Request a new reset link if needed
  4. Try a different browser

Password requirements not met

When creating a new password:

  • Minimum 6 characters required
  • Longer passwords are recommended for security

Verification email issues

Email never arrived

  1. Check spam/junk folders
  2. Add the sender address from the verification email to your contacts (typically noreply@mail.app.supabase.io)
  3. Wait 10-15 minutes
  4. Resend the verification email
  5. Check if your email has strict filtering
  1. Go to the login page
  2. Enter your email
  3. Click “Resend verification”
  4. Complete verification within the time limit

Already verified but can’t login

  1. Try refreshing and logging in again
  2. Clear browser cache and cookies
  3. Try a different browser
  4. Contact support if issue persists

Page won’t load

  1. Refresh the page
  2. Clear cache and cookies
  3. Try a different browser
  4. Check your internet connection
  5. Disable browser extensions that might interfere

Stuck on loading screen

  1. Wait 30 seconds – it may still be loading
  2. Refresh the page
  3. Clear browser cache
  4. Try incognito/private mode
  5. Try a different browser

Autofill entering wrong credentials

  1. Manually type your email and password
  2. Clear saved passwords for Teeachie
  3. Disable autofill temporarily

Account access issues

Can’t access as teacher

If you signed up but see a student interface:

  1. You may have selected “Student” during registration
  2. Contact support to correct your role

Multiple accounts confusion

If you have multiple accounts:

  1. Make sure you’re logging into the correct one
  2. Use the right email address for each account
  3. Consider using different browsers for different accounts

Security concerns

Suspicious login activity

If you notice anything unusual:

  1. Change your password immediately
  2. Check your recent activity if available
  3. Sign out of all sessions
  4. Contact support to report the issue

Someone else accessing your account

  1. Change your password right away
  2. Verify your email address is still correct
  3. Review any changes made to your account
  4. Contact support for assistance

Getting more help

If none of these solutions work:

  1. Note the exact error message you’re seeing
  2. Try one more time after clearing cache
  3. Contact support with:
    • Your email address
    • The error message
    • What you’ve already tried
    • Browser and device info
