Having trouble signing in? This guide covers the most common login problems and how to fix them.
Common login issues
”Invalid email or password”
Problem: Your credentials aren’t being accepted.
Solutions:
- Check for typos – Verify your email is spelled correctly
- Check caps lock – Passwords are case-sensitive
- Reset your password – Click “Forgot password?” on the login page
- Try a different browser – Clear any autofill issues
”Email not verified”
Problem: You need to verify your email before signing in.
Solutions:
- Check your inbox – Look for the verification email
- Check spam/junk folder – It may have been filtered
- Resend verification – Click “Resend” on the login page
- Wait a few minutes – Email delivery can be delayed
”Account not found”
Problem: No account exists with that email.
Solutions:
- Check the email address – Make sure it’s the one you registered with
- Try other emails – You may have used a different address
- Create an account – If you haven’t registered yet
Session expired
Problem: You were logged in but now see the login page.
Solutions:
- Sign in again – Sessions expire after a period of inactivity
- Clear browser cache – Old session data can cause issues
- Check your connection – Unstable internet can interrupt sessions
Password reset issues
Didn’t receive reset email
- Check your spam/junk folder
- Wait 5-10 minutes for delivery
- Try requesting again
- Verify you’re using the correct email
- Check if your email provider is blocking messages
Reset link not working
- Make sure the link hasn’t expired (usually 1 hour)
- Click the link directly from the email (don’t copy/paste)
- Request a new reset link if needed
- Try a different browser
Password requirements not met
When creating a new password:
- Minimum 6 characters required
- Longer passwords are recommended for security
Verification email issues
Email never arrived
- Check spam/junk folders
- Add the sender address from the verification email to your contacts (typically
noreply@mail.app.supabase.io) - Wait 10-15 minutes
- Resend the verification email
- Check if your email has strict filtering
Verification link expired
- Go to the login page
- Enter your email
- Click “Resend verification”
- Complete verification within the time limit
Already verified but can’t login
- Try refreshing and logging in again
- Clear browser cache and cookies
- Try a different browser
- Contact support if issue persists
Browser-related issues
Page won’t load
- Refresh the page
- Clear cache and cookies
- Try a different browser
- Check your internet connection
- Disable browser extensions that might interfere
Stuck on loading screen
- Wait 30 seconds – it may still be loading
- Refresh the page
- Clear browser cache
- Try incognito/private mode
- Try a different browser
Autofill entering wrong credentials
- Manually type your email and password
- Clear saved passwords for Teeachie
- Disable autofill temporarily
Account access issues
Can’t access as teacher
If you signed up but see a student interface:
- You may have selected “Student” during registration
- Contact support to correct your role
Multiple accounts confusion
If you have multiple accounts:
- Make sure you’re logging into the correct one
- Use the right email address for each account
- Consider using different browsers for different accounts
Security concerns
Suspicious login activity
If you notice anything unusual:
- Change your password immediately
- Check your recent activity if available
- Sign out of all sessions
- Contact support to report the issue
Someone else accessing your account
- Change your password right away
- Verify your email address is still correct
- Review any changes made to your account
- Contact support for assistance
